When we decided that I was going to be Laila and Matt's wedding photographer next summer, they asked me if I would be interested in doing a trip to grab some camping/lifestyle photos. There are few things I would rather do than go camping in the Utah desert and shoot these kinds of photos, so I said "absolutely". We chose the Escalante area of southern Utah and made it happen. I feel that getting away from a typical couples photo session and doing something like this is tons of fun and also lends itself to capturing a more authentic picture of two peoples lives together. In the end, we had an epic time and took away some images that I'm extremely fond of. I'm beyond stoked to have had the opportunity to connect with them.
